John Weigle Windows started installing Creators Update, which took a while, then rebooted, did some more and finally ended with a message that it had found a problem with the computer. So it rebooted, reinstalled the old version and didn’t seem to leave any message about what failed. As I’m writing this, I got a new message that it’s ready to install the latest updates. Failed second time, too.
Tony Pizza I just started the Creator upgrade on my 3rd computer. It needed some updates to 1607, which took repeated tries because I kept getting an error with KB4019472. I tried a restart, failed, tried a shut down and reboot, also set the power off settings for screen and sleep to never. It succeeded after that, probably a coincidence.
Lisa Toth Sometimes a ghost page starts to appear on my screen then disappears. I’m wondering if it is my pop-up blocker blocking an ad. This just started happening a week or so ago.
Michael Megowan I am having a problem with Firefox sometimes locking up my computer when I go to open a new tab. Even CTRL-ATL-DEL won’t get me out. I have to do a power switch reboot. This problem started a couple of months ago. I have tried to do a clean reinstall of Firefox, but the problem persists. I am running Windows 7. The computer is a Core-i5 with 16Gb of RAM. Chrome blue screens, but not on opening tabs.
Lisa Toth I am noticing a new phenomenon when scrolling down through pics I get by email. I get vertical lines beside the pictures. Sometimes they eventually disappear.
