Q&A with CIPCUG Session 107

EU Copyright Law shot down

Lisa Toth   I switched to Chrome after a bad couple of days on FireFox. It is slower to respond as in opening a page when I click a link. Any ideas?

Fred Krueger   Why is my keyboard acting erratic? It has spells where I get no response from the keys. I type away and look up and there is nothing there. then if I go very slow it will start to respond.

Andy Toth   I have an ASUS Transformer, win10, 64 bit. I reinstalled a generic win10 system. When I bring up the Disk Management dialog it shows that the file system for (C:) drive is NTFS (BitLockerEncrypted). How?

Andy Toth   I’ve been cleaning up my data drive. I’ve removed about 8GB of data, emptied the trash but the data storage report is now 3GB more than when I started. Is there some new MS accounting system?

Lisa Toth   Well I just passed the “mom some guys have me in a van and they are going to kill me.” test.  Your heart starts pounding, especially if the caller sounds like your kid. She sounded like my older daughter but I kept my cool. I kept asking who is this? No name response finally a man took the phone and said he was going to kill her and drop her in front of my house. This after calling me many names because I stayed calm and kept asking for the name of the girl. Since one girl is in Texas and the other is in Washington, I figured they didn’t know anything about me and it was safe to hang up.
