Sue Nethercott   When I fired the computer up after an update on Friday, the browsers were doing a lot worse, and I had to switch to my slow old portable for work. So I spent yesterday transferring stuff to it as a backup. Today I had a go at your instructions.  The troubleshooter found nothing.

Scannow gave the message:  “Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.”

Sue Nethercott   Britain is no longer part of the EU, and still keep asking me if I’ll accept cookies under the GDPR? And why don’t many of them use a cookie to remember that I have already said OK?

Sue Nethercott   After a recent power cut, Microsoft Chrome stopped working. Either pages take minutes to load, do not load at all, or I keep getting the message, “Page not responding”.  I tried resetting it and then reinstalling it without success. Then I installed Microsoft Edge and it was the same.  Microsoft Chrome remembers lots of things (autofill, passwords, cookie preferences etc), will translate pages for me without needing an add-in, and I need 2 browsers to keep my different roles separate. How do I get it to work again?
