Ask Dr. Bunny. Beautiful creations from scraps?? Aaron Peacock and Berta Kassai

Aaron Peacock and Berta Kassai

Aaron Peacock and Berta Kassai

Aaron Peacock and Berta join Dr. Bunny to discuss their very interesting life of travel, music, building their home on the side of a mountain in Portugal, and how they use recycled material to make BEAUTIFUL new items!  A very interesting interview that will have you seeing “scraps” in a whole new light!!

More about Scrappy Kids clothing:
“Scrappy Kids” presents one-of-a-kind high-quality clothing created from scraps of fabric, love, and a bit of magic.

The idea of Scrappy Kids was born back in the time when Berta was working as a tailor and sample machinist.  She was always amazed of the quantity of waste (mostly quite large “scraps”!), so she thought it can and should be turned into something beautiful,  instead of being thrown away.

Berta started to collect the scraps and started to sew little recycled jackets to make mommies and stylish kiddies happy 🙂 Now she is also making clothes to adults, too. Of course still only from up-cycled materials!

Skills like social interaction, self-confidence, a love and respect for nature, healthy living choices; all of these can be learned and cemented at camp. It is truly a priceless experience and one every child should have a chance to enjoy.”

Ask Dr. Bunny. Tyranny, Courage, and COMEDY? Margaret Zhao, guest

Dr. Bunny and Margaret Zhao

Dr. Bunny and Margaret Zhao

Margaret Zhao, author and speaker, joins Dr. Bunny to share her incredible story about tyranny, courage and… COMEDY!  Tune in and learn more about this amazing woman – she is truly an inspiration!

About Margaret Zhao:
“Without wanting to share any details of my current life that may spoil the story for you, I cannot resist sharing the evolution of my memoir, Really Enough: A True Story of Tyranny, Courage and Comedy.

“At a social event in 2010, I casually shared a few of my childhood experiences, which drew instant interest from Kathleen Martens, a witty and magnetic woman in the group. I discovered she was a writer who had lived, worked and traveled throughout Asia in the seventies and eighties and had even visited a commune when China first opened to Americans.
The immediate connection we made led to the magical writing collaboration that brought my story to life.

“We came from two dramatically different backgrounds, yet she amazed me with her uncanny ability to translate my feelings directly from my heart into her elegant words and to catch the subtleties of the Chinese culture. Together we opened the blossom of my memories growing up in rural China in the tumultuous and oppressive times of Chairman Mao. We gave voice to those who in their time could not speak, and breathed life into the people whom I wished to honor from my past.

“It is my sincerest hope that my story will touch you, make you laugh and inspire you to get up and change your life to capture whatever dreams are in your heart.”

Dr. Bunny & Debe Bloom

Dr. Bunny & Debe Bloom

Debe Bloom joins Dr. Bunny to discuss networking marketing – what it is and how it can work for you.  A great interview with lots of valuable information!

About Debe Bloom:
My career history started when I was 17 years old, working in a small retail photo-delivery box (remember Fotomat??) and creating relationships with the customers. I did that for a couple of years when I decided to move on into the insurance industry where I spent the next 35 years as an admin professional (customer service, in-house management, etc) and moved my way up the ladder to Director of Operations.

Personal family issues and business situations popped up throughout these years and finally, I was at a crossroads where a decision had to be made. Putting my years of guidance, support and training for others (thru my volunteer efforts) in line with my future goals and desires, I ‘moved forward’ into the professional coaching arena. And yet, I have made more of an impact on peoples lives as a Director of Nerium International.

Specialties: Economic times are tumultuous. Confidence Coaching offers a co-operative team where we clear the fodder & create a path forward with clear goals & hope.
I have supported career changes, weight management & nutrition (It Works product line helped hundreds:, family problems & those who dealing with loss, (divorce, job, home, friendships, pets, family, & being a Twinless Twin, siblings) and most recently, and substantially, Nerium International Director.(

Ask Dr. Bunny. Do you love to cook? Julieanne Case, guest

Julieanne Case

Julieanne Case

Julieanne Case, amazing artist & superb cook, joins Dr. Bunny to talk about all things food and what inspired her love of cooking.  This is a yummy interview that’ll spark your appetite & your inspiration!

About Julieanne Case:
For many years, cooking and dancing were my means of creative expressions. At a very young age I would lose countless hours painting, using those paint by numbers kits and I loved it. Life changed.

After graduating college, I moved to California. Sometime in my mid 20’s, I enrolled in a figure drawing class and found I was quite adept at capturing the essence of the person being drawn. Cooking and dancing were always part of  my life and once again the art stopped. I began very early to cook and it grew over the years. My natural talent for cooking was fed by experimentation and exploration. My dining room table was my palette for many years where I created a visual painting using the table setting and the food to nourish the person and their soul through sight, smells and tastes.

A couple years after a car accident, a painting class seemed to be calling my name and I listened. Why? Who knows!  Maybe the Universe was telling me to do it. Painting seemed to come naturally to me just like cooking. Most of all, the love for painting blossomed and grew in the first class.  Mixing paints to create my own colors is pure joy to me and the knowledge of what colors go best with each other seems to come naturally.

I love painting. I find it tranformative and at times I know that the painting is happening through me. I love vibrant colors and light.  I also love to take photographs too.  From the first paintings i did, I was told my art had lots of energy in them. Coming from a left brain world, I didn’t understand what they were saying. Once I began to learn energy techniques, what others said made more sense to me.  I learned that I could intentionally infuse my paintings with frequencies (energies).  Color in and of itself is also healing.

It is so easy to lose myself for hours when I paint. Sometimes I step back from the canvas to check the overall picture and I find myself in awe and wondering who painted it all and I love that this happens.  Sometimes I’m on the verge of tears I’m so thrilled with what I see. Of course, I have those times when I wonder what in the world gave me the idea that I think I can paint and what was I thinking and I’m none too happy with what I see before me. Then it’s time to take a  big step back and maybe pick up a different canvas. After awhile I  go back to the one I was having trouble with and due to the beauties of oils, I redo what I’ve done and lo and behold I’m transported again to the feeling of joy and creation and utter gratitude. That is the process of creation. I’m filled with awe and love when I paint and those emotions are in my paintings along with pure unbridled joy!

I love that the art I create has healing frequencies from both the color frequencies and the healing frequencies. Now I’m studying that aspect more to create specialized paintings to help others heal.

Life is truly a journey and you are the driver, the creator of that journey, no one else is.  Are you ready to take control?  Are you ready to learn about yourself?  It’s a wonderful journey if we but open our eyes to see and our heart to the knowing.

Come join me.  I’d love to help you on your journey, the journey to reconnect you to who you really are,  to your unlimited magnificence, to the you that you were meant to be.

About the Young and Brave Foundation:
The Young and Brave Foundation began from LOVE. In 2010, founders Nathaniel Curran and Matt Coulter were hit with a devastating blow, when a loved one was diagnosed with the unthinkable: cancer. It was a complete shock to all, and no one knew quite where to turn. Not ones to sit on the sidelines, Nathaniel and Matt jumped into action; helping raise money to cover medical expenses, creating community awareness and offering support to their friend in need. It was the fight for life that occurred after the diagnosis that truly opened their eyes to the harsh realities of cancer. From this experience, Nathaniel and Matt’s passion for helping others was born.

In March of 2011 The Young and Brave Foundation received its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status with the vision of helping young adults, children, and families with little ones diagnosed with all forms of cancer. This was a huge accomplishment and essential to the growth of the Foundation. Fulfilling this goal gave them the confidence to realize that they were on the right path. With many new opportunities coming their way they are humbled and excited for what the future holds.
Founders Nathaniel Curran, Matt Coulter and original board members Josh Curran and Frank Tesoro each bring their own creativity, visions and goals to the Foundation. With every individual and family the Foundation takes a direct step into your corner helping you and those you love beat cancer. No matter the circumstance, they are dedicated to fighting alongside those young and brave.

From the beginning the theme of the foundation has been LOVE. Cancer is one of the most difficult challenges anyone can face in their lifetime. “Always LOVE” has become their battle cry because with LOVE, absolutely anything is possible!
