Information is the golden ticket you need to save your life, Dr. J tells Dr. Bunny~
Dr. J recounts an experience of one of his patients – a wealthy 40 year-old man with great insurance who suddenly developed severe stomach pain.
He went to the emergency room and they prescribed a narcotic. He doesn’t like narcotics so he didn’t take it.
Since the pain persisted, he went to Urgent Care the next day and they prescribed him percocet. He didn’t take that either.
On the 3rd day the pain was unbearable so he went back to the emergency room. This time he insisted on a cat-scan. He had diverticulitis – a symptom of diverticulitis is constipation. Narcotics cause constipation. Dr. J. says the narcotics they gave him could have caused his intestines to explode! But he would not have felt it because of the narcotics!
It is important to note that No matter how much money you have, you can receive bad medical care!
What cured Dr. J.’s patient? “Doctor Google” cured him. After doing a search online, he found that he had a gluten intolerance!
The good news is that the information is out there.
