Vic Johnson I discovered some old 3.5” disks I had filled via a USB external drive I could open with a Win 10 computer. After several Win 10 updates, I can’t access the data. I’m sure one disk has a file I’ve been looking for. Any ideas to get that data?

Sue Nethercott My PC updated itself yesterday. Then it would not recognise my (Microsoft account) password. Fortunately I was able to fire up my slow old portable which uses the same account, had not updated, and did recognise the password, which I then had to change. Is there any way of avoiding using Microsoft to sign onto your own PC? I never intended to in the first place.
