In today’s show, Reverend Kat talks about how to clean out the closets of your finances!
Why is this important? Because, as Kat puts it, when you look at your money there is a lot of information on how you view yourself. You can see your values and how you take care of yourself.
Illustrating her talk with a personal story, Kat tells of how, a few years back, she found herself with money problems. She took a prosperity class. The first exercise the teacher gave the class was to open up their money doors, drawers, and closets!
Kat found out a lot about herself. Among other things, she looked at her divorce papers that she had never looked at because it was so painful. She discovered limiting beliefs about herself stemming from her childhood that she brought into her first marriage.
Kat found that she had labeled herself “stupid money girl.” She discovered that she actually was often brilliant with money and had made some very good financial decisions. From cleaning out her money closet, she freed up her energy and uncovered her skills and expertise. She was able to see what she didn’t like, what she did like, and was able to create new financial habits. She was able to address old wounds, forgive, and move forward.
Listen to the show and discover how opening up the doors, drawers, and closets of your finances leads to more self-awareness and creativity! Kat gives you a step by step exercise and as you pull it apart, you will find the positives as well as the negatives.
Many people who go through this exercise have discovered that they had money that they didn’t know they had!
Tune in next week for one more show of cleaning out your closet! Until then, remember to shine your light!
About Reverend Kat (from her website):
I began my career as a Spiritual Leader when I was 7 years old. Sitting in the field beside my house one day, I asked God why some people were so unhappy. A real voice answered (no kidding),“Your job on this earth is to teach people about love and how to have what they want in life”.
From that day on, I have pursued this with a passion. From my original dream of becoming either a missionary or an actress, I have crafted a career that is grounded in Spirit as I tune into a channel that broadcasts what’s in others’ hearts and souls.
As a spiritual leader, I teach, write, and perform on life’s stage… and, as the voice predicted so long ago, I teach people about love and how to manifest from the heart.
I have faced many challenges in my life including the death of my mother when I was young, being kidnapped as a teenager and leaving a 20 plus year marriage in my 40’s. I have learned a ton through the school of hard knocks and delightful surprises as well as the training noted below.
