Q&A with CIPCUG session 161

Lisa Toth   I just finally got mail on outlook after not getting any since Tuesday. Have no idea how many emails I got but I know it is a couple hundred.  It’s Friday. Absolutely nothing was changed to make it stop or start.  I rebooted the computer a couple minutes ago and that’s when it started downloading. I had rebooted a couple times each day thinking that might help.

Fred Krueger   All of a sudden I cannot get internet connection to my TV. I have turned off the router and the TV box, played with the router settings where I had to log into everything on the computer to get it up again. The router indicates the wifi is up an running I put in the correct password and everything checks except internet connection. Any Ideas?  I have talked to Spectrum, and they passed me on to Samsung. The verdict is the problem is my router settings.
I am having a lot of difficulty with the Netgear genie.
It would help if I knew more about this router setting business.

duplicate files finder you mentioned in an answer to finding duplicate files. I went out to the site as my computer is loaded with such things. It doesn’t mention windows 10 at all. Are you using it on that platform?

Rosalie Sherbrooke  Can anyone recommend a program that will eliminate the duplicate photos/files on my computer?

John Weigle   The Intel Discovery Tool tells me:  “Based on the version of the ME, the system is Vulnerable” and refers me to two documents that are not terribly helpful to me. What should I do to get it fixed, or do I have to wait for Intel to come up with a solution for the motherboard and the chip?

Lisa Toth   I am considering the purchase of a Fitbit device. Some of the devices offer certain options that require bluetooth LE to work. How can I figure out if my laptop (Toshiba win 10 has this capability?
