SNAP! Unhypnotizing Hypnotherapy. Childbirth hypnosis? Begum ‘B’ Uz, guest.

Begum ‘B’ Uz, Certified Hypnotherapist and EFT Practitioner, joins Dr. Bunny to discuss many aspects of hypnosis. B specializes in childbirth hypnosis, as well as pre- and post-birth support, and tells us what her motivation was for that specialty.  B explains how helpful hypnosis is before, during and after childbirth, and why a mother would benefit from using hypnosis during that very special time.

B shares the story of her background and what got her interested in the field of hypnosis. She also tells us how hypnosis has helped her personally, and why she believes everyone should know about the wonders of hypnosis!

Tune in for a fun and interesting discussion!

About B.:

‘B’ stands for Begum and I am a Certified Hypnotherapist, EFT Practitioner and a lifetime learner from Turkey.

I believe that we create our own experiences in life. Sometimes we create the things we and other times things create us.

We are the creators.

The reason for many people for not having the life they want is their subconscious programming.

Hypnotherapy is a form of subconscious therapy. During hypnosis, we get access to the subconscious mind. So let’s change the old beliefs with hypnotherapy and accomplish that one thing that has been very challenging to you!

I originally started this journey in the marketing field in Turkey because I was fascinated with how human psychology can shape purchasing habits. This curiosity and passion for the human mind’s power led me to hypnosis. I am delighted by the idea of enabling a positive impact on others’ lives by using the power of hypnosis.

I graduated from Hypnosis Motivation Institute with honors, also known as HMI. HMI is an accredited school for hypnosis and hypnotherapy not only in the United States but also in the world. A great education about hypnotherapy is crucial for success because proper hypnotherapy doesn’t have side effects and highly effective when practiced correctly by a trained professional.

Why B Hypnotized ?

Let’s be solution oriented and let’s make the change for good.

For hundreds of years, we were able to heal ourselves. Whether with the help of natural plants or our inner powers, we were in touch with our natural resources.

Since we advanced in technology and got wrapped up in the stressful city life, it seems like it’s hard to recreate the mind-body connection. Why experience hypnosis and hypnotherapy with B.?

  • Rediscover your mind-body connection with B.

  • Experience powerful EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) release

  • Educated in hypnotherapy and different aspects of hypnosis

  • Experienced in various topics, even the ones that may seem unique to you!

  • The bridge between Western science and Eastern healing methods

SNAP! Unhypnotizing Hypnotherapy. Comic Hypnotist? Human Excellence? Rich Guzzi, guest.

Comic Hypnotist, Rich Guzzi, joins Dr. Bunny for a fun and enlightening discussion about comic hypnosis, human excellence for the underdog, success, and so, so much more!

Rich says he was an underdog growing up. He tells us about a mentor he had at a young age who taught him principles that he still uses to this day.

Rich shares the four areas of expertise that you need to be successful:

1. Skills

2. Learn how to market the skills

3. Leadership and outsourcing

4. The “It” factor

Rich explains each of these categories and tells us how these four areas can work for you, no matter what your profession is – and it’s completely fascinating!!

Rich’s amazing energy & enthusiasm is contagious!!  Tune in and prepare to be inspired for success!

About Rich Guzzi:

With recent appearances on Access Hollywood and in Parade Magazine, how does Comic Hypnotist Rich Guzzi plan to keep the momentum going? How about a nation wide 300 show comedy tour to prepare for the one hour special he is developing!

Rich Guzzi is a comedian that does hypnosis, not a hypnotist that does comedy; that is what ultimately sets his show apart from others. At any given time, Rich can take an already hilarious situation happening on stage and turn it into an unforgettable moment. Hypnotizing a group of audience members and being able to have them act outrageously is one thing, but making the scenarios create a storyline that produces outright hysteria is another, all created with new audience members every night making each show a unique experience.

Born in Brooklyn NY, Rich grew up in a neighborhood full of funny characters. To stand out in the crowd you had to really be over the top. Guzzi credits this upbringing with his motivation to never settle for just being funny enough. It has to be so good that you want people to go home and tell everybody “You’re not going to believe what I saw last night”

Every night Rich performs a high wire act. Bringing audience volunteers to the stage and then hypnotizing them right before your eyes. He doesn’t even dim the lights because he wants everybody in attendance to see the induction process. Once hypnotized, he then puts them into some of the most outrageously funny scenarios you could possibly imagine, obviously to the delight of the friends left in the crowd watching in disbelief.

Interestingly enough though, believing is exactly what Rich wants to accomplish with his show every night. You see, its not enough for Guzzi to just make you laugh really hard. He wants to have every person leave that showroom knowing that Hypnosis is real. Not some spooky witch doctor trick. By showing the true benefits, he can hopefully take the stigma away, give it wide spread acceptance and bring it to the masses.

“Hypnosis should be cool, not scary”, says Rich.
Always grateful for what he has, Rich likes to give back with his charity of choice being animal shelters, doing benefit shows across the country. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee where his neighbors still think he is in the witness protection program.

While working on the road, Rich travels with both his dog Jasper and the Baby Kitty, so to say he is a pet lover is quite the understatement. He does benefit shows across the country for animal shelters with all the proceeds going directly to the charity. He never takes one dime for the performance.

Want to get involved?  Work at or know an animal group that can use some financial support? Being part of the effort is easy. Just look at my schedule here and pick a date either before or after my arrival into your town and I will do the show for free. That’s it.

Luckily, Rich used to be an auto mechanic and is extremely handy with tools so he can do the never ending construction and maintenance projects around his house. Which happens to be a log cabin that sits on over seven acres with a river in Nashville, TN.

Thinking he might want to be a movie star, Rich moved his home base to Los Angeles for a little over two years. He was home 35 & 28 days respectively because of his ridiculous tour schedule. Eventually he sold his car, put his stuff in storage and lived on the road for almost another three years before settling in Tennessee.

Always the entertainer, Rich played guitar in a band and after getting tired of carrying heavy amps around to gigs decided he liked doing stand up comedy better. He was a touring headliner for almost 10 years doing straight stand up before doing his first hypnosis show in Muskegon, Michigan.

Rich recently found out that he has numerous food allergies; most of the items on the stay-away-from list are fattening and tasty. Armed with this new info, he has entered into the world of health & fitness including cardio work, lifting weights with a personal trainer, and even doing yoga twice a week to increase his flexibility.

SNAP! Unhypnotizing Hypnotherapy. Listening, Affirmations, and Hypnotherapy. Cinda Roffman, guest.

Cinda Roffman, C.Ht., joins Dr. Bunny to discuss listening, affirmations, hypnotherapy and so much more!  Cinda shares what led her to become a hypnotherapist, and why she feels that listening is such an important key in her practice.

Cinda tells us how much she loves helping her clients overcome their obstacles and transform their lives.  She uses affirmations to help her clients, and encourages them to write down their affirmations at night, as well as the things they are thankful for.

Cinda hosts a free Q&A session every other Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, via Zoom.  The next one will be September 9, 2020.  Go to https://www.cindaroffman.com and click on the link at the top of the page to register.

About Cinda Roffman:

Cinda Roffman is a certified hypnotherapist, trained at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the only certified hypnotherapy school in the United States. Cinda has also completed and excelled in courses in weight management, emotional freedom technique, hypnosis and sports performance. She is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in sociology. She holds a certificate in paraprofessional counseling from the Wagner Program at the American Jewish University. She has worked as a legal secretary and administrative assistant and has raised three children. She brings a wealth of personal life experiences to her successful hypnotherapy practice.

In addition to hypnosis, there are several techniques that I have been trained in that can help you, including:

HANDWRITING ANALYSIS – a person’s handwriting gives clues about how they feel about themselves without having to be consciously aware of how they feel.  Some examples would be: If your letters begin on the line and then continue into the word, you are good at planning ahead,  if your letters start at the top of the letter with no intro stroke, you are not good at planning ahead. If your writing slants to the right, you tend to be extroverted, slanting to the left may indicate an introvert.  If words crowd each other on the page, no spaces between the words, a person may be unable to take risks or be conservative. Of course, we verify all of these indications with discussion with the client, but it is a good way to get clues as to what is going on in a person’s subconscious mind.

NEUROLINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP) – one of my favorite tools, it offers a way to “reframe” or look at behaviors or concepts from a different perspective.  Often looking at events differently can remove negative emotions from the event, taking away the power of the event to cause negative feelings or hold a person back from actions they want to take.  This can be especially useful in treating fears, I’ve used it successfully with fear of driving and fear of testing clients.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT) – also a favorite tool – maybe because it really helped me deal with my weight issue and my relationship with my father.  EFT involves tapping on the body’s energy meridians and balancing the energy disruptions that can continue to trigger emotional and physical pain.  This technique looks very odd when you are doing it, but it does work (and I do it along with you so we both look funny…).

THERAPEUTIC GUIDED IMAGERY – In addition to the guided imagery that is usually a part of hypnotherapy, like finding a special place to relax and rejuvenate, therapeutic guided imagery can help you connect with your inner child or  find your inner guide.  Who wouldn’t want a personalized mentor to help  you succeed?

In addition to the specific advanced classes on the techniques above, I’ve also taken workshops in Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, Coping with Loss and Fears and Anxieties to name a few.  These classes teach specifically how to apply all that I have learned in my year-long certification program to each of these specific areas.

SNAP! Unhypnotizing Hypnotherapy. Attention? Intention? Get a handle on your thoughts!

Shelley Stockwell-Nicholas, founder of the International Hypnosis Federation, joins Dr. Bunny at HypnoThoughts Live 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to discuss attention, intention, hypnosis, and so much more!

Due to Covid-19, HypnoThoughts Live was a bit different this year, but both Dr. Bunny and Shelley enjoyed it immensely. Shelley tells us why she feels like she’s with her best friends when she’s at HypnoThoughts Live.

Shelley also shares her tips on how to wade thru all the data that is being pushed at us right now.  She says we need to not only pay attention, we also need to have intention.  Shelley explains exactly what that means, and how to get a handle on your thoughts.

Join us for an informative, uplifting, and fun interview!

About the International Hypnosis Federation:

Since 1994, the IHF has promoted acceptance of the diverse inter-discipline use of hypnosis with a broad range of applications. We are unique among organizations because our members and those interested in self-improvement and mind mastery often choose additionally specialty recognition and join our various related hypnosis divisions: integrative and stand-alone medical and dental work, mindfulness, neuro-linguistics (NLP}, coaching, guided imagery, motivation, conflict resolution, art therapy, spiritual counseling, entertainment and research. We offer referrals, professional certification training, workshops, conferences and networking opportunities for practitioners and the public. We encourage interaction with other disciplines, clinicians and researchers who use hypnosis in their work.

Your professional hypnotist evokes a natural mind state where you easily take on beneficial suggestions and ideas and do away with limiting or hurtful attitudes and behaviors.

With hypnosis and self-hypnosis, you’re motivated to achieve worthwhile results, make contact with your wisest self and tap your full potentials and talents.

Researchers prove again and again that hypnosis benefits people mentally, emotionally, energetically, physically and neurologically. (For a comprehensive fifty-page document of scientific studies call 310-541-4844 or email your request to: ihf@cox.net)

To select a qualified hypnosis practitioner take heed: A professional hypnotist, hypnotherapist, hypno-coach, hypno-counselor and wellness provider has training and experience in hypnosis to help you achieve your specific goals and interests.

Just because someone is licensed or credentialed in another discipline (I.e. medicine, therapy, dentistry, psychology, mindfulness, social work, or nursing) does not mean they have studied hypnosis or are capable of using it as an adjunct to their other work. Only a small percentage of licensed helpers take time to be certified in hypnosis

Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Counseling and Hypnosis-Coaching are stand-alone certified professions. Professional Hypnotists generally have hundreds of hours of training in hypnosis.

To reduce confusion ask yourself, “Does this practitioner have the expertise in hypnosis to help me reach my goals?” And “Is there a sense of rapport with them?”

Members of the International Hypnosis Federation adhere to a fine code of ethics (available for your review at www.hypnosisfederation.com) and regulations of their places of practice. If you have further questions regarding whom to consult for your well-being, feel free to call IHF at 310 541-4844.
