Ask Dr. Bunny. From England to Mexico? Pauline Sumbland, guest.

Pauline Sumbland joins Dr. Bunny in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to share her wonderfully interesting story about life in Cabo San Lucas, and what brought “a very conservative Brit” to Mexico from her home country of England.

Family is very important to Pauline, and she shares a lovely story about her granddaughter, who is an amazing artist at only 12 years old.

Pauline is a customer service representative, or more accurately, a very upscale personal concierge, at Quivira Los Cabos, which is where Dr. Bunny met her.

Tune in and hear why she loves the lifestyle in Cabo, and how it compares to the other places she’s lived – London, Monte Carlo, Mexico City, etc.

It’s clear that Pauline truly loves her life, and you’ll be inspired by her story!

About Quivira Los Cabos:

Situated on 1,850 acres, with three miles of pristine beaches, Quivira is a tranquil retreat offering everything from world-class fishing and spectacular golf to award-winning spas, dining and service. Quite simply, Quivira elevates the quintessential Cabo experience, drawing people from around the world year after year.

Quivira takes its name from an ancient legend about seven cities of gold. The story is inspired by the historic event in which Mérida, Spain, was conquered by the Moors in 1150 A.D. It tells the tale of seven bishops who fled with sacred religious relics, hoping to protect them from the invading Moors. According to legend, each of the seven bishops founded cities in lands far away. One of the cities was called “Quivira,” and it was said that the streets there were paved with gold. Such was the promise that ushered in the Golden Age of Exploration when explorers like Coronado, Pizarro and Cortes crossed uncharted waters to discover the new world.

Today, locals refer to this region as Paraiso Escondido, “Mexico’s Hidden Paradise,” and it is home to Quivira, Cabo’s finest luxury residential community. Rather than the fabled gold and rare gems, a beautiful natural landscape and enriching experiences await visitors. And just as the myth took on a life of its own, Quivira, too, inspires stories about the Q life in Cabo San Lucas — stories based on new adventures and unforgettable moments that will be shared and passed on by family and friends from generation to generation.

Traveling to Quivira is easy. For private jets, there is an executive airport only six miles from Quivira. There are more than 30 flights daily to the San Jose International Airport, a scenic, 20-mile drive away. When in Cabo, we encourage you to visit our Sales Office located just north of Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort.

Ask Dr. Bunny. One of the best trainers? Gary Butterworth, guest.

Gary Butterworth, teacher, trainer, former radio/TV personality, and all-around wonderful person, joins Dr. Bunny to discuss a multitude of subjects – including why one of Dr. Bunny’s friends called Gary the best trainer around!

It is clear to see (and hear) why Gary is such a successful trainer – he is excited about life!  Dr. Bunny asks Gary where he got his enthusiasm (it’s so much fun just listening to his voice!), and he tells us where he believes that comes from.

About Gary Butterworth:

Award-winning seminar leader who conducts workshops in oral and written communication skills, team leadership, and personal development for students across western North America.

He is passionate about sharing ideas—those that can be personally applied and those that can help us to positively enhance our circle of influence. I work at developing alternative ways of creating conditions for learning in the classroom. My focus is on innovative approaches to teaching as an act of two-way communication. In particular, I am a proponent of the Chautauqua Teaching Method, in which teachers and students perform historical figures who interact with the classroom audience “in-character.”

Ask Dr. Bunny. What will they say about you when you’re gone? Rabbi Daniel Cohen, guest.

Rabbi Daniel Cohen, the author of “What will they say about you when you’re gone?”,  joins Dr. Bunny for a wonderful discussion about life and making a difference in the world.

With the holidays upon us, there is a natural pause built into our culture to celebrate the harvest and to give thanks. Unfortunately, these days too many have let politics and other difficult problems cause rifts in relationships.

How can we heal this? Is there a way to come together? It is the holidays, after all.

Here are some tips from Rabbi Daniel Cohen:

~ Seize the Present. We spend too much time living with regrets or worrying about the future. We miss the opportunities in the present. Text or Call someone with whom we have lost touch or take for granted and let them know how much they mean to you.

~ Cultivate Gratitude – It is the secret to friendships and healing. Keep a gratitude journal. We will wake up with humility and healing to be more patient, understanding and kind.

~ See the Divine and Good in Everyone – Be as forgiving to others as we are of ourselves. We are quick to overlook our own flaws. Do the same with those around you. Do not dig for the dirt but mine for the gold.

~ Change One Person: Change the World. One spark, one kind deed, one light can transform a world of despair and darkness intro one of hope and healing. We only live once. Create an Eiljah Moment. In the words of William Penn – “I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.”

Rabbi Daniel Cohen has been speaking and doing television interviews and other media all around the country. He is the author of What Will They Say About You When You’re Gone: Creating a Life of Legacy.

Ask Dr. Bunny. A joyous celebration in life? Bill Lamond, guest.

Bill Lamond

The amazing Bill Lamond joins Dr. Bunny for a continuation of last week’s discussion on pleasure thinking, reinventing yourself, celebrating life, and so much more!

What if we were taught as children to have a joyous celebration in life? Most of us don’t know how to do that because we weren’t taught that!

Bill talks about reprogramming his entire thinking and how he invented a ‘technology’ for living joyously, with the first step being a graduation!  Tune in and learn why!

Bill is a fascinating person to talk with and you will find yourself thinking in a whole new way.  This is an interview you definitely don’t want to miss!

A Very Personal Note from Bill Lamond:

I think we all know that the very fabric of life as we have known it is changing. Many people unfortunately are sitting on their hands hoping that things will go back to the way they were. They’re just not going to and it’s just hard to admit.

The real job right now is to re-invent yourself so that you are in line with the future and the style that will be necessary to be successful in it. Fulfillment-based Thinking, in programming jargon, is a platform that allows you to program your future in ways that are based on your genius, your passion, and the pleasure of having what people often refer to as your Heart’s Desire, so you are free to make choices that promote the future you want AND enjoy the process every step of the way.

We all want success in our chosen goals, of course, but what this thinking provides that is different from the way that most people produce results is a way to achieve them that actually fills you up while you are working on what you desire, rather than wearing you out. (No wonder many successful people feel that something is missing when they get where they are going.) When you achieve your goals in the work harder, grit-your-teeth commitment style, you wear yourself out, when the point is to arrive in style!

As you can see, I’ve included letters from a variety of people who have been in my coaching projects, because there is no situation or problem that cannot be impacted by knowing how to graduate with honor from the person you have been and become someone new. And with the technology of Fulfillment-based thinking, it’s achievable quickly and as a real pleasure.

I invite you to stop putting up with anything less than the full enjoyment of your life and become a person who is leading in happiness and has access to their personal genius.
