Sue Nethercott I can set up a keyboard shortcut to open file manager, or whatever it is called these days, at a particular folder.
But is there a way to go straight to a particular folder when you are using ‘save as’?

Alice From SCV  – how come all of a sudden when she goes to her Gmail she needs to put in her e-mail address and password.

David K From SCV  – had a dual boot desktop – Windows and Linux. When he updated to Windows 10 he no longer has a boot selection screen or a Linux drive. How can he get them back.

Tony Pizza   Is there a way to filter Facebook posts and emails that contain the words: Trump, Obama, Clinton, Republican, Democrat, etc.?

Lisa Toth   There used to be a search feature where I could look for a file or picture on my computer. Cortana doesn’t seem to know I only want to search on my computer. Does that still exist somewhere?

  – Firefox crashes a lot – What browser is better and more secure.

Linda From SCV   new Macbook pro – wanted legacy genealogy program that sister has. Legacy site said she could load it if she can load Windows through Bootcamp. She doesn’t know anything about Bootcamp or what it is

Browser – can you have IE Explorer and Edge on your computer at the same time?

Denny From SCV  – Every time he’s off his computer for 15 minutes he has to sign back in. How can he stop having to log-in via a password.

Dave P From SCV  – Malwarebytes 3.0 premium – new version. He likes it because it incorporates anti-ransomware. They are saying you don’t need to use an anti-virus with 3.0 but also say it is compatible with anti-virus programs. Can/should you really use it without an A/V.

Bill Hinds:  When I try to use Acronis Disk Director, I get message that I’m using a Demo, and it does not work. I got this disk from a raffle at a CIPCUG meeting and it worked before I added a new Solid State drive to my system

Orv Beach:   Got a Netgear router? You’ll want to update the firmware if you haven’t done it in a while.

Sandy Tsutsui-Trujillo:   Would you provide information on online tax filing and recommendations on how to protect ourselves…I assume we know the standard antivirus, malware. Etc

Lisa Toth:  Every once in awhile, my phone screen gets the dreaded gray screen. I have restarted it to get my screen back sometimes just pressing the power button fixes it. I have a windows phone. A Lumia.

Bunny Vreeland:   Regarding an article that said anyone could find out anything about you:  Is it true?  How much information about us is out there?

Lisa Toth: I have updated adobe flash many times but I still have trouble watching things I trust. Could this be a setting in Firefox?

Bunny Vreeland:   How did you learn so much about computers? How does someone learn how to be a WebMaster in today’s world? And, how can we keep up with all the changes and upgrades?

Rosalie Sherbrooke   Per Toby’s suggestion, I’m posting my question here; Can anyone recommend a program that will eliminate the duplicate photos/files on my computer?

Sue Nethercott   If Trump’s administration ends net neutrality, how much effect would it have outside of the USA, and how likely is it that people would find an alternative?
